Five Things to Watch this Weekend (Week 11)

November 13, 2025

Crunch time, baby. Week 11 is loaded with drama and here are the top 5 stories you should be tracking:

1 . Packers vs. Giants

Green Bay took the loss on MNF last week in one of the more boring games of the year. A 10-7 defeat where they couldn’t get anything going offensively. They had their chances, but Jordan Love just couldn’t get it done whenever they were actually able to get across the 50 yard line. The Packer offense was 38% on third down conversions and looked downright awful. Fortunately, they draw the Giants who are starting 3rd string QB Jameis Winston over Russell Wilson as Jaxson Dart is hurt yet again. Interim head coach Mike Kafka will fill in for the recently relieved Brian Daboll – Which felt like a LONG time coming at this point. Daboll might be a decent coordinator but his run as a head coach was a disaster in New York aside from that 2022 run. Green Bay gets a nice opportunity for an easy win in an ever tightening NFC North divisional race. Unless, of course, we get the version of Winston that goes 450 yards with 5 touchdown passes. Jameis is must watch television.

2. Bucs vs. Bills

Baker couldn’t bake, unfortunately, against the Patriots last week. However, Tez Johnson stepped up alongside Egbuka and showed that he can provide in this offense, too. They learned a little bit more about themselves and will travel to Buffalo to take on a Bills squad that was humiliated by Miami. Both teams are coming off losses but Buffalo’s was no doubt much worse. With all the nasty negativity and turmoil surrounding the Phins, they were able to hand Josh Allen the L. You’re going to tell me this Dolphins team doesn’t even attend meetings but can still take apart a Super Bowl contender? At this point, the 5-0 start for the Bills feels like forever ago. It should be a tough matchup but if they can stop the Bucs run game, they should be able to slow down the offense but it will depend on which Josh Allen we get on Sunday.

3. Bears vs. Vikings

Chicago is coming off a huge comeback win against the Giants where it looked like they were set to take an ugly loss. Some 4th quarter Caleb Williams magic put them in the lead and their defense held to secure it. Rome Odunze was finally more involved, they’re starting to look Luther Burden’s way in big moments (BIG reception on the game winning drive), and they still have DJ Moore running around out there. Ben Johnson has a nice split going with D’Andre Swift and Kyle Monongai who went for 5.4 ypc last week. It just really feels like they’ve turned a corner and are starting to look increasingly more dangerous.

For Minnesota, they may be stuck after getting dismantled by a Lamar Jackson led Ravens squad. JJ had a bit of an ugly game completing less than 50% of his throws and tossed two ugly interceptions. McCarthy was certainly trying to force the ball downfield a few times to make a big play and it resulted in an easy turnover. Kevin O’Connell will need to reel him in a bit against the Bears as they can’t afford to fall to 4-6 with this loss coming from an NFC North opponent.

4. Chiefs vs. Broncos

Kansas City is coming off a week 10 bye but took a loss to Buffalo before their break. Mahomes has largely looked like an MVP candidate for most of the season but he was held in check against them and didn’t throw a single touchdown. You know they’ve been reflecting on that and taking the extra week to prepare for a big AFC West clash in Denver. Hopefully, the Chiefs don’t regret passing on adding to their rushing game at the deadline as it’s been pieced together by Kareem Hunt/ Isaiah Pacheco with mixed results. The Denver defense shouldn’t have much issue making them one dimensional. However, it’s the Broncos offense that is more the question. They may be 8-2 but it has NOT been pretty. They’ve barely snuck by the lifeless Jets, Giants, Texans and Raiders. Payton has been a little passing game happy and it’s resulted in some difficult game days. However, with JK Dobbins potentially headed to IR, they may need to rely more on Nix and the passing game to get by. RJ Harvey is a capable RB2 and has played well in limited work. Given what we’ve seen, it might be unrealistic to expect a big jump in the passing game so they’ll certainly need the rookie back to step up into the starting role.

5. Lions vs. Eagles

Dan Campbell took over playcalling duties last week and that offense LIT up the box scores. Jameson Williams was unguardable and had the Commanders focused on taking him away. They only have St. Brown or LaPorta to target instead with Jahmyr Gibbs out of the backfield. The Eagles defense will have their hands full and there will be interesting matchups across the board. Philly had no problem shutting down the Packers last Monday, but their main issue has been the offense. They keep finding ways to win, but it isn’t without weekly controversy and noise from AJ Brown. Brown vented his frustration about his role again this week, essentially stating he’s still not getting the ball enough. The Eagles have dealt with plenty of distraction in the past and all they did was win the Super Bowl, so it isn’t everything, but it is something.
