Keith, Commish
A Fantasy Season with THE Dynasty League is a behind-the-scenes look at one commissioner’s journey through a homegrown dynasty fantasy football league. Each week covers trades, roster moves, rookie updates, league drama, and more — all from the perspective of a manager playing the long game. It’s fantasy football with history, strategy, and just the right amount of chaos.

Six-Way Scramble for the 1 Seed
Week 10 delivered pure chaos! Six teams now sit tied at 6-4, every matchup carried playoff weight, and special teams swung more games than anyone wants to admit. From Jonathan Taylor’s record-breaking morning to Drake Maye’s debut magic, the standings have never looked wilder. Buckle up, the sprint to the postseason just got messy.

Game Recaps
Yoshi & Friends (3-7) vs Shake n Bake (6-4)
This might’ve been the first time a game was over before the 1 PM games even began. Yoshi was riding a two game win streak and was hoping to make it three, but Jonathan Taylor (77) and company helped combine to absolutely bury Yosh at 9:30 AM. It was Taylor’s fifth game this season with three total touchdowns and it was good enough to make him the all time rushing touchdown scorer for the Colts as he moved past Edgerrin James. Yoshi went on to take multiple zero’s from DJ Moore and Mathew Golden, and just to make things even more fun, took a negative 5 from their defense. It’s been an ugly season but you can start looking toward the draft, I guess?
Shake n Bake didn’t have another “stand out” performer aside from Baker (35) which is a big deal. You’ll see why when I talk about Penix Energy later. It’s 1QB but you can’t get by without your QB producing well as losing that matchup will cost you weeks. Though it’s a six way tie for first, Shake n Bake claims the 1 seed once again with all the tie breakers applied. They have a great opportunity to notch win number 8 against Staff Infection next week!
Amon Ra Doggin Your Girl (6-4) vs Staff Infection (4-6)
Speaking of ol’ Staff Infection, they’re fighting for their lives to stay in the playoff race but dropped a big one to another contender in week 10. Bijan (14) couldn’t get anything going against the Colts and continued to struggle for the third straight week. The ground game had a mediocre day but the passing game didn’t and London (27) cashed in with a 100 yards and his sixth trip to the endzone on the season. Special teams were a big let down this week with both Lutz and the Cardinals D combining for just over 8 points. Those can be big matchups to lose should they fail to produce even average stat lines, it can cost a good team the week. RJ Harvey had a rough one on TNF against Las Vegas but with Dobbins reportedly headed towards IR, more opportunities may come knocking very soon, right in time for Staff Infection to make a playoff push. With four weeks remaining, they’ll get an important shot at 6-4 Shake n Bake to get it started.
Amon Ra Doggin’ was considering selling some pieces off until they rattled off a two game win streak. With a very injured and under performing opponent on the schedule for week 11, the good times might keep coming. Third round rookie draft pick Woody Marks (20) keeps playing well and Kyren Williams (26) had himself another big day. The lineup was solid aside from a disappointing day from Bo Nix (11) whose real life struggles continue. There was no 4th quarter magic this week for him but it didn’t cost Ra Doggin’ the W.
Accepting Trade Offers (6-4) vs The Flea Market (5-5)
SPECIAL TEAMS AGAIN. The Flea Market was probably feeling good about this one until the Seahawks defense dropped a 30 point bomb on him in the 4 PM slate. It created a 20 point disadvantage for the poor Flea’s as it was ultimately too much. The all rookie backfield came out alright. Chicago surprisingly gave their fresh off an injury D’Andre Swift much of the work and left Monangai (10) on the bench despite his huge performance against the Bengals. He looks quick, decisive and I think it’s only a matter of time until he sees more opportunity again. Staying with the Bears, Rome Odunze’s (20) dad took to social media to ridicule the playcalling and they responded by feeding his son again. Odunze has been a godsend to this underperforming Flea Market receiving corps, but I think something is in the works to bring more help to this roster 😉
Accepting Trade Offers snagged their 4th win in a row and threw their name in the hat for the one seed with the mega tie for the top. Chuba Hubbard, Bucky Irving, Kimani Vidal (27), Bam Knight (12), Jordan Mason (5). It’s amazing that ATO just somehow finds guys to filter in and out of the lineup at running back. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a more duct taped together roster but it’s working! This team refuses to rebuild after big time stars like Austin Ekeler, Dalvin Cook and Cooper Kupp left their prime. They get a BIG opportunity to get that 7th win in week 11 against a struggling Yoshi squad that could really help solidify their push for that first round bye. With one of the softest remaining schedules, I think ATO might be in the drivers seat.
Ricky B (4-6) vs Hanks You Very Much (3-7)
Ricky has entered his official descent back to the bottom. The writing was somewhat on the wall when he lost Omarion Hampton to IR, but the selling off of Odunze and Javonte Williams made it inevitable. With three first round picks, I don’t think he cares all that much and is looking forward to turning this roster into his own this coming off season. Ricky is currently the owner of picks 3,11, and 12 though those playoff firsts could be as early as 6 and 7. Lots to look forward to there next August.
Hanks is the 5th highest scoring team by Optimum PF but is a disappointing 3-7 on the season. Only picking their third win up here to a team who has sold off all of their relevant pieces. This win was powered by TreVeyon Henderson (36) FINALLY getting some additional carries with Rhamondre out due to injury. De’Von Achane (56) also had a HUGE day with 174 yards and two touchdowns of his own. Those two combined with Jameson Williams (27) finally getting in on the action with the playcalling duties switching over to Dan Campbell and we might finally be cooking here. The next four weeks feature all teams fighting for a playoff spot so the path will not be an easy one.
Big Penix Energy (6-4) vs Blue Know It (5-5)
After a 5-0 start to the season, Big Penix has now gone 1-4 over the last five weeks and lost the lead over the field as they head down the stretch. While the QB play has been nothing to write home about (Penix – 17), the special teams absolutely cost them this week. Ryland (4), Vikings D (3). There was surprisingly still a chance to take this one but Oronde Gadsden (1) turned back into a pumpkin and that was all she wrote. They were down Lamb, Chase and Javonte thanks to BYE weeks but there isn’t any wiggle room left to screw around. Another loss or two could see this team on the outside looking in with the standings so tight.
Blue Know It was 2-5 and left for dead after their Week 7 loss. Since then, they’ve strung three wins together and are right back in the race. Currently on the outside looking in with all the teams above them at 6 wins, but ready to jump back into the playoff picture should any one of those rosters have a bad week. Three of the next four opponents are Hanks and Yoshi so I would say they have a playoff spot unofficially locked in at the moment. The Drake Maye (27) acquisition paid off immediately but it was their own special teams who sealed this victory. Jason Myers (21) and Broncos D (28) propelled this team to victory and instilled hope once again to Blue Know It nation.
Bronze Universe (6-4) vs Everyone’s Hurts (6-4)
With Patrick Mahomes on BYE, Bronze Universe fell for the Geno trap. It’s the old 40 points one week, 7 points the next and it stung him hard as they dropped to a very depleted Everyone’s Hurts squad who left Jahmyr Gibbs (50!) on the bench! Wow, I didn’t notice that one until writing this, that really sucks for Bronze. BIG missed opportunity there. Especially with Jacoby Brissett (32) on the bench, RIP. Bronze ended the week as the lowest scoring team and their opponent was the 11th. It’ll hurt for a minute but they need to get ready for what should be an easy matchup in Ricky B in week 11. This can’t turn into a losing streak.
Everyone’s Hurts gets a lucky win to move to ..what is probably a fake 6-4. Though, with Gibbs in the lineup, anything is possible and anyone can be beaten by his 40-50 point bombs. I am still surprised that AJ Brown (1) has been such a ghost in 2025. The Eagles keep winning, so it doesn’t really matter, just surprising how the offense has played out for them this season as Barkley has had some struggles as well. Everyone’s Hurts draws another 6-4 team in Ra Doggin’ Your Girl next week, separation in the standings is coming!
After Week 10, the league feels like a pressure cooker ready to burst. Six teams clawing for the top, every point swinging playoff fates, and no margin for error. The next few weeks will separate the contenders from the pretenders, and if this chaos keeps up, we might need tiebreakers for our tiebreakers. Buckle up, the grind is just getting good.
