Commanders Reload: McLaurin and Deebo Return for Monday Night Showdown

October 25 2025

After a few stressful weeks for the Commanders without their star receivers, they’re making their return at Arrow Head stadium to go head to head against the Chiefs on Monday night.

With the Commanders star receiver Terry McLaurin out since week 3 the Commanders were struggling, going 1-3 without him. Deebo Samuel has been listed as out since week 5 with a foot injury, but will return with Terry McLaurin this Monday. Without these star receivers the Commanders offense has struggled to get down the field, which forced the reliance on lesser known players and making the less proven players step up to take their spots. With Jayden Daniels out with a hamstring injury, Marcus Mariota will have to take the throne, but will it even matter? He’s a backup for a reason. McLaurin has route running, agility and catching skills, while Deebo has a lot of versatility on the field, ground and air, that will also help the Commanders offense a lot.

We’ll see what they can do Monday night.
